William Hackett Grade 8 Lifting Chain is manufactured by our supply chain partner Mckinnon chain in South Africa. The Grade 8 chain is embossed with manufacturer's mark and grade (MA8) and class leading batch code traceability. All sizes for the William Hackett Grade 8 are proof tested at manufacture to 2.5 times the given working load limit and have a range of diameters from 7mm - 32mm. The Hackett Grade 8 chain is suitable for use in a temperature range of -40°C up to 200°C without reduction in working load limit, reductions apply up to 400°C. The chain is black painted and is used in our Hack8 chain sling system.

William Hackett Grade 8 Lifting Chain is used in chain sling systems. The end link is often fitted into a chain connector or a clevis style hook.
Standards: designed and manufactured in accordance with EN818-2 and ASTM A391/A391M.
Product sizes: available in chain sizes from 7mm to 32mm and with working load limits from 1.5 tonnes to 31.5 tonnes.
Temperature: operational temperature range of - 40°C to + 200°C without reduction in working load limit. Reductions apply up to 400°C.
Material: alloy steel.
Finish: black painted.
Markings: embossed with manufacturer’s mark, grade, and batch code for material traceability.
Testing: magnaflux crack detected after heat treatment and proof load tested to 2.5 times working load limit.
Safety factor: 4 : 1.
